The Ethiopian Capital Market Administrative Tribunal (ECMAT) has organized a second-round training program for judicial and justice sector institutions from the Amhara Regional state.
More than 60 participants attended the training forum. Those who successfully completed the initial round later underwent advanced training and were awarded certificates of completion.
The training initiative is intended to strengthen the credibility, transparency, and reliability of Ethiopia’s newly launched capital market system by promoting consistent legal interpretation among judicial and justice institutions in resolving disputes related to the capital market sector. It also aims to deepen institutional understanding of the country’s capital market regulatory framework.
In collaboration with the Regional Supreme Court, efforts are underway to institutionalize the training through justice and legal training institutes to ensure continuous delivery for future trainees entering the judicial system. The initiative is expected to expand the accessibility of the program and support sustainable capacity-building efforts in the areas of capital market law, regulation, and dispute resolution.
