The Ethiopian Capital Market Administrative Tribunal(ECMAT) organized a second round training forum for judges, prosecutors, and other participants drawn from Harari and Somali Regional State, and the Dire Dawa Administration.
During the forum, more than 70 participants who had previously attended the initial training received advanced instruction and were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the program.
The training primarily aimed to strengthen the capacity of judges and legal professionals in order to enhance the effective implementation of Ethiopia’s emerging capital market legal frame work.
The Administrative Tribunal has also signed agreements with the Somali Regional State Supreme Court and the Somali Regional State Justice Organs Professionals Training & Legal Research Institute. The agreements are intended to expand the accessibility of the training program and support sustainable capacity-building initiatives in the future.
