The Ethiopian Capital Market Administrative Tribunal is conducting a stakeholder engagement forum for 88 participants drawn from 17 institutions operating under the Harari Regional State and the Dire Dawa City Administration.
As the Harari Region and Dire Dawa city has a growing commercial activity, the Tribunal role surpasses that of any other institution in strengthening investor confidence and ensuring trust in the capital market system .
The forum is being held at a timely moment, as Ethiopia’s investment landscape continues to expand. Beyond supporting the effective functioning of the emerging investment system, the event also serves as an important platform for dialogue, mutual understanding, and experience sharing among key stakeholders.
Held in Dire Dawa, the forum was organized to enhance participants’ understanding of the Capital Market Proclamation.
The Tribunal announced that future engagements will include broader discussions on the capital market’s legal framework, regulatory directives, and operational procedures, incorporating international best practices and practical training sessions.
