The Ethiopian Capital Market Administrative Tribunal(ECMAT) is conducting awareness-raising forum with high officials, judges, and public prosecutors of the South Ethiopia Regional State.
The objective of the forum is to enhance institutional awareness and understanding of the concept of the capital market, the legal frameworks governing the capital market, and its operational procedures, with the aim of ensuring the protection for investors operating in the region.
In particular, by introducing the commencement of a special court mandated to hear appeals exclusively on capital market matters the forum aimed to enhance collaborative work among relevant institutions.
Furthermore, ECMAT will soon launch an indepth training program exclusively for justice sector institutions.
